Not all clients lean towards linear instruments when it comes to facade lighting. A lighting designers job is to deliver a variety of options to highlight architectural features. Options can include up/down sconces, direct burial up-lights, and decorative instruments such as glowing sconces and point source lights to give a bit of sparkle. At minimum 3 different lighting techniques should be used in order to create visual interest. All lighting designers talk about the layers of light that they envision. Each layer has a visual impact and a price tag. Our selection of lighting layers maximizes the visual impact while minimizing the costs.
