110 Kent Boutique Hotel

This historic Brooklyn building is receiving a renovation turning this once warehouse into a boutique hotel complete with restaurant, rooftop bar and speak easy. This current building photo was rendered to display a few concepts for the exterior lighting. Linear lighting added to uplight the decorative brick cornice, framing lights highlighting the brick work over each window. A pattern of recessed small aperture lights in the facade add a sparkle to the building. In grades at ground level reveal brick texture creating a bit of drama with decorative sconces flanking the entry. Adding a stem mounted linear grazer to the side of this building gives an opportunity to light and showcase an art graphic. As a 3rd lighting technique to add visual interest to this facade we suggested real neon signage. Warm lighting tones give this hotel a comfy inviting feel to guests.
