Sunport Airport is one of the most unique airports in the world. Known for its distinct southwestern architecture and cultural décor, New Mexico's most prominent commercial airport welcomes over 5 million passengers each year. The luggage carousels and outdoor arrival areas are distinguished by tiered canopies and trellises covered in color with LED panels.

Some of the lighting components depict the Sleeping Beauty turquoise blue, while others represent the turquoise-green colors of the Cerrillos Mine. Stepped ceilings, Thunderbird emblems, and lighting of the horizon all work together to give the impression that you have just stepped into the "Land of Enchantment."

Colorful Carousel

The luggage carousels at Albuquerque International Airport are the first in the world to employ RGB color-changing lighting. After dimming to 70% from the start and up to 100% by 20 years, we ensure that the lights maintain the same level of light for more than 20 years even when the fixture's light level decreases.

We designed the light inside the building to fit into the airport and city's long-term plans while enduring considerably longer than the expected ordinary life of an LED.

The airport's look in these areas is as fresh as that wonderful New Mexico high desert air. We were thrilled to illuminate this cultural gateway for travelers from all around the world.
